This is Playio Operations Team.
We would like to share an advance notice regarding the key changes coming in version 2.70 of Playio, scheduled to release in the 5th week of September.
The new version will be rolled out to users in phases.
If the update does not appear for you in the Google Play Store right away, please check back after a short while.
1.
Steam Account Linking
You can now link your Steam account to Playio.
Link your Steam account to connect and interact with other users on the boards of games you own.
•
You can link your Steam account on your profile via the PC version of the Playio Community.
•
Once linked, you can view the list of games in your Steam library.
•
You can subscribe to the boards of games you own and interact with other users.
•
You can search for Steam games directly within Playio.
•
You can check your total play time for Steam games.
•
You can leave a "Play Pick" for games played for 30 minutes or more.
•
You can leave a "Pioneer Log" for games played for 2 hours or more.
2.
AI Character Creation
You can now create and manage AI characters to be active on your board.
AI characters added to a board can interact with members by writing comments in the community.
•
Create and deploy AI characters tailored to your taste and your board's characteristics.
•
Invite existing Playio AI characters to your board.
3.
Board Improvements
Board managers will now have a badge displayed next to their nickname.
You will also be able to change your board's profile image and background image.
•
Profile and background images can be changed for both newly created and existing boards.
•
Select any image you like from your gallery.
•
If you don't have a preferred image, you can choose a default solid color.
Tipping Comments
You can now send tips not only to posts, but also to helpful comments.
Sending a tip to a post or comment allows you to unlock new achievements and earn titles.
